Next Chess Camp for Kids - Labor Day Chess Camp and Tournament - Monday, September 6th, 2010 ***CANCELED**


Sorry, but we did not get enough registrants to put on a successful camp. Our next camp will be held the day after Thanksgiving and has been fairly popular in years past.

First City Championship Qualifier for Kids! 

Wright Middle Tournament - Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010



Click here for the complete flier and details. This is the first (of 3) qualifiers for our 2011 City Championship. These are the most popular events in the city of Nashville for kids to get their start at or to continue to gain experience as they get older.

Upcoming Tournaments - NCC Fall Swiss (one-day event)


Saturday, October 16th, 2010

     Register: 9 AM - 9:45 AM. Round 1: 10:00 AM. Other rounds to follow ASAP. Entry fee: $30 ($20 to NCC Members) 85% of entries returned as prizes. USCF Required. G/45 Time Control - 4-Round Swiss that typically ends around 5:00 PM.


Do you think you can be city champion of Nashville? This event is open to kids and adults!


Well then sign up for our two qualifying events. The Music City Fall will be held November 19-20, 2010 and the Music City Open will be held December 10-12, 2010. Three players will qualify from each and will be joined by the 2010 Defending Champion and Nashville's top rated scholastic player (on the December Rating List) in an exciting new, knockout format.
