The Tempo Break Out in Week 1 of the 2009 US Chess League
The Tennessee Tempo is Tennessee's first professional chess team. The team was added as a US Chess League expansion team in 2006. The Nashville Chess Center is the home of the Tempo. The 2009 season will kick off in September with the Tempo playing on either Monday or Wednesday evenings through November. Check back here frequently for news and games from the team.
